Okay I just wanted to know what people thought about wheel sizes on a car thats just lowered without a Body Kit. I like 17's but i'd rather get 16's because theres more protection for the wheels with the right size tires such as 205/45.

I have 17's now on a civic w/ a body kit but that was nice when I was going for the show look.. Now Im lookin at 16's for a lighter wheel for better handling and control.

I think it depends on the car. For example, a 5th gen civic hatch would look best w/ 16's if it had a body kit, but 15's would look best w/o a bodykit. A teggy with a bodykit would look good with 17's (but has to have a polished lip) or 16's if the spoke go all the way to the edge of the rim. Then just go 1" smaller if there were no bodykit.

I have 17" rims on my 92 civic hatch right now without a bodykit, and I must say that it looks like im flying. The car is so far from the ground. I just put them on 2 days ago. Before that, stock vx wheels. They are so much lighter, and I had my car literally on the ground. Now, its like 4 inches or so off the ground. I don't like it, but when you have a set of 17" black konig glides, it tends to take your mind off of the height. Also, when I get a bodykit, it will turn out perfect. I say nothing bigger than 15" wheels on an EG.

First off..are you going for show or what? If you are going for show, then get 17's. If you are not, then get lighter ones, go for the 16's.

for my civic, i have 17's because I am going for the more show look right now.

my car had this look:
17" tenzo poke 10 gold with lowered with neuspeed sport springs (lowering 2.25") and **** looked bomb. i mean all cars would pull up next to me and begin reving or burning rubber.. though might seem 16 is the way to go i do believe 17 is the ultimate look b/c unless u are in the spoon 15" look u will get tired of 16 and wanna change later. now it's a bit diff as i have put kit and bunch of other things... but for sure 17777777sssss
OHHH and if u go 16 definitely get a colored rim to match car - DON'T GET 16 AND SILVER... WILL LOOK ORDINARY NOT UNIQUE...
