That's what I was planning on doing if and when I get a new CF hood. You just don't know if these CF hoods (especially the cheaper ones) are clearcoated nowadays.

A couple of my friends detail...I'm gonna stop by and see what their opinion is, when/if it gets fixed I'll let you guys know.

The guy I bought the car from got the hood from PreludeOnline.com so I don't know if he did a group buy or bought from a seller. Anyways, can you guys post where you're getting your hoods from. Because if I can't get it fixed I'd like to get a new one and this time I want to get a decent one, maybe not the best but a good one.

i had an OLD vis hood and it did the same thing.. i was able to wetsand it and refinish it a couple of times but it just got worse.. i finaly just bought a new hood..
