What about that nanowax? Not a paste, but sounds good from what i've just been reading.
It's no biggie tho....the E1 QD is so awsome, at least to me, any decent wax is probably fine. Just figured since i like this E1 product so much, why not go entirely with thier line. I'm using 3M right now and it's fine.

I'd still say that the Meguire's Gold Class, is good quality wax...and boy does it make a car shine!

i just never had luck with that stuff as far as longevity. Don't know why, but it seemed to be gone after a month. Thats the second mguires product i tried and didn't care for, so i'm never going there again unless they come out with some incredible product that recieves raves from everyone that uses it.

By the way, i woke this morning and thought maybe i'd reach the car to find it wasn't as nice as i thought last nite. But instead i was again blown away. Still cannot believe the deep shine and slickness. And when i arrived here at work it was dust free. It just doesn't seem to stick to the suface with this stuff on it, and any that does gets blown off during my commute. In 35 years of driving this is the first time i have ever been blown away like this by a paint care product.

I will update my thoughts about it's lasting power as time goes on.

dazco, nanowax has good initial results but it's just...not durable?

I think you should look into some Clearkote vanilla moose and Meguiars #16. It's very durable, and very good looking.

The vanilla moose is just to clean very lightly, fill in minor imperfections. You don't have to use it everytime you put on #16.

Gold Class is not good. I hate it. I hate working with it. I hate the shine it gives. I hate how it lacks durability. #16 is their old-school wax from back in the 70s and it's still an awesome product.

I'll take your word on that. You steered me right before, so i trust you. Plus being an old product intriges me because it seems like waxes worked better back in the day. Like Rally wax for example. That stuff used to put a shine on my cars that out-did anything i've used in recent years.
Is #16 available at any of the chains? I'll order it online if i have to, but with shipping it usually adds at least 6 or 7 bucks. Plus it's a lot more convenient to be able to just go get some when i need it.
By the way, that wet wipe and shine works equally as good on the interior plastic. I've always had a problem with the lower door panels on hondas where your shoe hits it on the way out and marrs it, and nothing ever gets it off. I tried the E1 on it today and it just disappeared immediatly. i'm beginning to think this stuff is magic !

#16 isn't available in chains--I know of K&S locally (don't know if they're a chain). Carquest *may* have it. Your best bet is a local body-supply store. Maybe.

if not.

If you want to order some very light pre-polish for it from the same vendor (these are products I haven't used but I have heard good things about Einzette and Sonus products):

I'll pass on the cleaners for now, (New car, just clayed. I hope to keep it in this state for a long time) and i'll check some body shops for the #16.

Please do try that detailer and let us know what you think. Every time i look at my car i can't help but wonder why it doesn't work so incredibly well for everyone.

Fine then, but will you take of offer on the Eagle One Wax As You Dry? It's not really meant to replace a regular wax.

But between waxing. Oh, after a wash...oh...it's nice. Helps with durability of the wax overall (although I went 2 months with #16 and it was still beading, but i re-applied it).
