Default shining headlights

Ok I took your advise on using 350 grit to shine up my headlights on my tegra. all it did was haze the shit out of it. Ohh and I wet sanded the light plastic. Now what the hell do I do to get them clear again? Thanks

350 Grit is waay to course in my opinion.

I would have used something like rubbing compound or such. Thats comperable to a 1500 grit or so

Best option, find someone who has a buffer (A real buffer, not a freaking orbital polisher) and use 3M Prefect-it II buffing compound and buff those babies up(Also, this would have been the best option BEFORE you sanded the headlamps)

We sanded rims with 400grit, 350 would be way to corse to shine head lights with.

Do you know what that would do to plastic? That stuff rippes the paint off a car.

Thanks for all the help guys! I went and got the 3m stuff and it kinda worked good. I just hope it holds up well.

Honura: go on Autopia.org and PM NY_Detailer. He's a good guy, he can fix it, I'm sure.
