Default How to remove touch up paint

I recently bought a 2001 civic. There was a scratch on the front bumper. The previous owner use touch up paint on it. She did a bad job as it looks like a big blob, used way to much.... What can I use to remove this blob and redo the touch up paint. TIA.

you could probably wet sand it with 600 grit automotive said paper with soapy water and buy the touch up paint in an aerosol can with clearcoat in it, i think you can get that at pep boys

I have the same problem. Any other responses or confirmation of the above? Could I use paint thinner or would that take off the original car paint too? Maybe in someonewhoknowsnothingaboutcars terms?
