Polish and Wax?
My friends and I just finished up my hood and we color sanded it *Dunno what the term really means since thats what my friend said we had to do to get the orange peel look out of the way* ANYWAYS! it looks horrible cuz it got sanded down and basically my friend just said it just needs to be buffed and waxed.
Any recomendations on polish and waxed to get the *sanded* down look to it out of the way and looking smoothed and shiny
thanks guys

Most popular and easily attainable at your local Autozone/PepBoys is Meguiars 3 step Wax/Polish.

Meguiars (I think it's #2) fine cut with a terry towel for application. Back and forth motions, not circles. Work it until it is almost gone (clear) and wipe immediately. Depending on how bad, you may have to step down to #1 medium, but the common rule is to use the product that is just adequate enough.
After that, you're going to want to use a polish that's lighter. I'd probably use #9 Swirl Mark Remover. Apply with a different terry towel, work the same as the #2, wipe immediately. Then follow up with a non-cleaning wax.
