save yourself some money and get a 92-95 civic EX lip. Fits perfectly, and looks great 
plus, its OEM goodness. And you can probably find one fairly cheap. (beats $400+ for a kit plus paintjob)

Having an unpainted kit on a car could be a good thing. If you drive on it for a while, you get the feel on how it is to drive a car with a lower front bumper. Even if you scratch/scrape it, it won't be as heartbreaking as if it was a painted bumper. I drove around for about a week with an unpainted front bumper just so I knew how to handle ramps, driveways, dips, etc...
