Default bumper GLUED on?...

I got into an accident a while ago and replaced my bumper w/ a fiberglass kit etc... [save rice comments please]. Either way, the shop that fit it sort of... glued it on with this black "gunk" stuff (I guess it didnt fit very well). Well I need to remove it now to replace my headlights (they're all old and leaky etc). How do I remove it? Heat gun? Will that melt it enough to remove the bumper? Will it damage the paint? Thanks...

Take it back to the shop and tell them to do it right so you can get your headlights on and off. :wiggle:

I hate shops that do crappy work. :sqfawk:

Looks like you're a victim of 'I was on a budget' then.
