You can just use a bug and tar remover.

where is this crap on your car? Near the tires?

yeah near the tires...though it kind of smeared towards the doors when i was cleaning it... basically near bottom half of the car

try a light rubbing compound. My roommate had sap on his hood from the tree in front of our house, and didnt know how to get it off. Tried rubbing compound lightly with a soft towel and took it right off.

bug & tar remover will work.. or just something that cuts grese a lil stronger than soap.. .. lil trick i learned.. Fast Orange.. just becarful not to scratch paint!
