IMO 18's are WAY too big for civics because there isn't even a tire size than can bring you back to stock diameter.

if he has a jdm civic... why would he be into the huge rims??

most people with "jdm" civics tend to ride with 15's or 16's because (IMO) are far better then huge huge rims...

18"s will rub off the rear arches - you would have to get them rolled and you would get rubbing on full lock on the front- with 205/35/18 tyre and at least 40 offset.
Put 17"s on and you can drop it 40mm with no arch work.
