Default Mazda wheels on a Civic

I have a set of 14x6 wheels from a Miata. The bolt pattern matches my 2002 Civic sedan (4x100) but the center bore is too small (54.1 vs 56.1 on the car). Is it possible to have the center bore machined the extra 2mm? Would this damage the wheels, make the wheels impossible to balance or make them unsafe? If it is possible does someone have a ballpark figure as to how much it would cost (I already have the wheels so it would hopefully be alot cheaper than buying new wheels). Thanks for any info.

it is possible, my dad had to do this to fit corvette z06 wheels onto his camaro. I don't know what the price would be though since his friend hooked him up. Call up some machine shops.
