What Makes it "Rice"
Ok I know that many things can easily be seen as "rice" such as a huge wing, body kit, and coffee can exhaust, but what is it exactly that makes something rice? I cant get a solid answer from anyone on this and maybe this forum can help me out. Is there a thin line between "show" and "rice" and where is that line. I know that some things like 50 sticker on the back window of your slammed and kitted 89 civic may be considered rice, because whats the purpose? is it to show thieves what you have under the hood? Because thats what I see it as. Why put a sticker on my car showing that I use all alpine stereo products, cuz that tells a thief "Hey break into my car and you'll get something nice out of it" and the same with engine components. Sorry if I'm going off here, but its something that really bugs me. thanks a lot and maybe you can help me with my confusion
To tell you the truth, I have noticed that most people think stuff that is far from stock to be rice. People around here especially think of things like lips, stock sounding exhaust, near stock size rims, etc. are the right thing to do and anything too drastic like cf emblems, 17"+ rims, altezza's, body kits, etc. are rice. It all really depends on who you are talking to and where u're asking. In the end the only thing that matters is what u like, remember that.
