well, after totaling my 1st 4th gen about a month ago, i'm in a search & ready to shell out the $ for a roll cage for this one, and I can't seem to find them anywhere. I know Arospeed makes them for some cars, but their website is confusing as all hell. you guys have any ideas??

 

You don't really want to drive around with a cage unless you have at least a 4-point harness and a helmet. The tubing (even with rollbar padding) can hurt you pretty bad if you smack into it with all the flying around that normal OEM seatbelts allow during a crash.

 

Why could you possibly need a roll cage in a Prelude?

An SUV?......YES...


A Prelude? No....

 

Gatta be pushing the car to quite some extremes if ya need a roll cage.


Maybe, just a suggestion, spend that money on better suspension and handleing.

 

oh, trust me....I already have my suspension to a T, and i'm getting seats/harnesses in about a month. The main thing is that my mom said she'd be willing to shell out the doe for a cage, and since they stiffen the chassis, and get points @ shows anyway (despite the added safety factor) I figure what the hell?
