Default over spray on plexie glass

I have a pleditor hood with a plexie-glass cut out on my 93 nteg and I got the underside of my hood painted and when the process was being done the dumb ass who was painting it did not tape off the window like he should have and got some clear-coat on the window. I need to get people's opinions on the best way to remove the clear-coat from my plexie-glass without damaging the plexie glass.

Paint thinner, turpentine??? I don't know what they will do to the plexi-glass, but they will take the paint off.

Why don't you nicely ask your friend to take it off or how you could take it off. He might know more about that than we do since thats what he does. :dunno:

paint thinner will definately work, but odds are it will eat the plexiglass--do a test spot on part of the glass that is not visible, and see what happens

Take it back to him. You paid to get the car done right.

You could try lamp oil. Works well for sap. Don't know about clear coat. Try it on a spot first.
