Default Re: Slickness

tfrog,

I can understand not having time since having a new baby......my brother just had a girl and it takes alot of work!

As far as the 'slickness' factor... Sure, you could use a glaze on it to give it that feel.... Actually I kinda like washing my car because each time is a testament to how great the 5 Star works. Some people use wax over their cars that are treated with a polymer like 5 Star. Though remember that wax attracts dirt especially when it's hot since it melts.

I found the secret to getting a long lasting and great shine........just listen to and follow any advice from redgoober4life ! This guy seems to know what works and doesn't. On his advice i will now try Kit carnuba wash and E1 wax as you dry, and i'm confident they'll both be great. I appriciate your good advice redgoober4life.....thanks.

Heh. No problem. I have yet to try Five Star and I probably won't--as my belief is that protection on paint is a sacrificial barrier that should last no more than 6 months, because by then, you need to clean the paint, and reintroduce oils.

Everyone has opinions. I'm here letting people know about 5 Star Shine because it is a great solution for those of us who want great paint protection and ease of cleaning but would rather spend time doing other things than waxing our cars every couple of months.

Such as marketing a product online to webboards all over the net? Do you come with your own shovel? You're here to make money. I'm not saying that's bad, but...we're here for different reasons. I'm here to help people, and you're here to help people and make money for "helping people."

Touche................I certainly hope that people see that I am far from your typical advertiser and am not here to make a quick buck. I've always been available for people to ask ?'s etc regarding 5 Star Shine and other products we offer.

We all work hard to earn a living and this is a part of what I do. I respect you and those who are a part of this website and intend to build a good reputation here.

I'd say, even if your product lasted 6 months (I'll take your word it lasts for longer, since I haven't used it), it is still a neat product, and worth the money.

I just...I like polishing, and using different products.
