Default Cleaning Exhaust Tips?

When I got my car, my exhaust was pretty much sparkling. But after running quite a few tanks through it and winter, it's gotten some build up on it. What do you guys use to get it sparkling again?

Tanabe exhausts usually come with this cleaner to help keep your exhaust looking new. I just use metal wheel polish like mothers on it to keep it looking shiny and blind the people behind me with their bright headlights. h:

It's worked for me. The only thing that you want to keep in mind is to clean the exhaust first of loose dirt and grime. If not, then you're gonna end up with one scratched up muffler (like mine ).

use straight acid if its chrome... watered down acid if its just metal... as soon as u spray it on the chrome will shine then juss spray it with the hose... you can pick it up at most automotive stores.

dont spray the acid on ur paint.. itll take it off.

i detailed cars all summer... its the easiest way

I clean my whole muffler when I wash my car. I also dry it.

It looks the same way I bought it about 1.5years ago:thumbup:

Hehe, now that I think about it, I was wondering why people don't like being behind me when I drive at night. :chuckles:

Everytime I switch lanes, the guy behind me always goes on another lane... It's the guys with lifted trucks behind me that bother me though...
