Default HID Kit pricing

Question,
Is $400 for a Phillips brand single beam H4 kit a good deal? I thought it sounded ok for a name brand vs a no name. I also heard to pass inspection, in NJ at least, you can install a relay in a single beam to "flick" the light to get the appearence of changing to a hi beam.

Comments and Suggestions welcome and encouraged!

That sounds about right. Usually they are anywhere from $380 to $500 bucks. $400 is about average for what I've seen most of them. Just make sure its a 4500K system and not one of those 6000K ones. The higher number doesn't mean its brighter. Just more purple. 4500K is the brightest one if I remember right.

That's pretty good for the single beam HID's.
