Hey members, I'd like to formally introduce myself as Darryl from Ultimate Racing. I'll be assisting Andrew as he's gotten very busy with the marketing portion of Ultimate Racing. Any new or old inquiries can be directed to Andrew or myself.

First off, I'd like to wish all the members of the S2000 forum a happy new year and hope that everyone had a great holiday.

The new year should be a very promising year for us here at Ultimate Racing. For starters, we're taking our S2000 prototype car back to the dyno for another session of tuning. Our original dyno was done a while ago and was a rough tune. This week we should back at the dyno fine-tuning for more horsepower! We're estimating another 10-15 rwhp. So stay tuned as we'll be keeping you up-to-date with our progress!

I would you compare your turbo charge to the comptech super charger. It seems the comptech super charger has been the product to get if you have a s2000

Yeah, but there have been too many S2000's with mechanical breakdown because of the supercharger. I'm not sure if they adressed the issues or not.

It's funny you say that. I called Comptech the other day to find out some information on their supercharger. I asked the sales guy how long would the engine last with the addition of the supercharger and all he could say that the car should drive great for about 10000 miles?!? That does not sound like a good deal for only 10000 miles.

J-Speed,
He was pretty specific. He said that after they inspected the install they would only cover their product for 10,000 miles. It seems like the Comptech s/c has gotten great reviews. But, the company says they are not confident about the engine being able to keep up with the modification

10,000 miles!!! thats horrible. you'd think they would wait to put this product on the market until they were able to make it a little more reliable. cripes!!

the only way i'd invest into something like that (if its only gonna last 10,000 miles) is if i was making a drag car and trailering it to the races.

so much for honda reliability aye.

10k miles? What kind of driving condition is that under?

Anyway back to the topic at hand. The UR turbo kit is a great ad and I think people should follow up on getting this kit. Especially now that UR is going back to the dyno machine to retune and try to put out more hp. The speedcraft kit is also a great addition but I agree with UR and that they should give a link to the dyno sheet. Mainly because if the power starts boosting late no one wants to feel lag. Also in my opinion I prefer the sound of the hks bov. Sadly I personally would like to be able to boost more more but when it comes to engine safety I guess its 290+ whp is good enough. About the 1/4 time I am pretty sure that it should run into the 12 range but thats just a educated guess. Lastly if the comment about the comptech s/c is false and the life expectancy is longer than 10k this is a VERY good kit to put on a s2k ESPECIALLY if you live in Ca like me because its CARB legal. Also comptech is said to be in testing stage of having the option of a aftercooler added to the kit. They are saying that with the aftercooler the s/c kit will produce well over 300+ whp. So its just something to think about.
