seriously, i had such high hopes for the car to continue the legacy of the RX7 but what a dissappointment. You know the car sucks when dealerships start buying the cars back from people cuz they are sorely disapointed with the cars performance. It does a pretty good rotary potential, i admit but its nothing special stock

No, where I get defensive is someone who has a pretty much stock car that they paid out the ass for coming in here and thinking he is the shit and writes in his signature about all the cars he can allegedly whoop. Big deal.

Right. But I gotta say I really liked what I read about that big beotch. If it's as good as the articles , it could be a really popular car.
I think I'll always want a car like the RX7, or MK3 or 4. I mean beautiful bodies, and plenty of power...
That would be cool.

haha whats wrong with taht? well not going to say I got my car cheap with the aspec package but I thought it would be nice to have the body and suspension insured and right out of the lot. For the list thing, I mean come on give me a break. Its all in good fun, I think your taking it too seriously and the list will keep on going even after i get a turbo and hopefully I'll add a turbo GSR in there someday

The car IS NOT continuing the legacy of the RX-7. It is simply continuing the existance of the Wankel Rotary engine. If it was supposed to be a follow-up to the RX-7, they (Toyo Kogyo, aka Mazda) would have named it as such. The RX-8 is the newest in the long line of Mazda Rotary powered cars (the Cosmo Sport, R100, R130, RX-2, RX-3, RX-4 "Luce", RX-5 "Cosmo," RX-7 series 1-8, and the latest Cosmo.)

Why must you folks keep compairing a sports car (S2000) to a grand touring car (RX-8)? Is it not enough that this N/A GT four seater, four door car can keep up with a sports car?
