the v2 may be a short ram but it produces more hp than the others and since it's not a cai, it's a lot easier to clean the filter...it also doesnt require anything else to be removed or cut like the cais

AEM is very good get v1 they're selling cheap. The k20a2 responds incredibly to mods so an i/h/e setup will yeild noticable performance gains. i say its worth it, and it may very well oh so slightly improve your gas mileage.

Type s has a sweet sound with the aem cai also. my friend just slapped one on his car and now it sounds mean as hell when vtec kicks in. Make sure whoever installs it though knows what they're doin cuz you have to relocate the washer fluid tank.

Also on a side note make sure whoever installs it angles it so the cable shifter bracket for 2nd gear isn't going to be hitting the piping. I've seen this happen already and when you want to get into second gear quickly it won't happen. Its actually a bit dangerous. So remember that tip.

From what I know

RSX Type S with EIH and Hondata = approx 220whp. That's what I HEARD.

wow that number is really off

try 200-208 whp

and that's with the race header
