Default Good head unit

I am trying to figure out how this would work if I was to replace my stock RSX 6disc CD changer unit. The face plate is a weird shape...and the hazard light button is there too....???

How am I going to get another face plate that would actually make it look flush?

TIA...oh, and if you have pics....please post them

The kit you buy has a place for the hazard button

the RSX premium comes with your standard din sized radio. just go to the dealer and order the dash kit for it.

stereo too weak for ya? I think it looks nice, especially since it's angled towards the driver. What if you used a more powerful amp with it?

There are dash kits out there.. Metra I think makes one.. I thought it looked kinda cheap.. You can pick up the faceplate from the Base model from your Acura dealer for about $80.. and it looks really nice.. of course.. I already HAVE a base.. so I didnt have to worry about that

the rsx base's dash is way better than an aftermarket kit. just hit up the dealer.

Default Headunit and trim place

Any din sized radio will fit nicely with a dash kit. Metra has one 99-7867 and EFX/Scosche has one AA1568B - you can pick you up online for about $14.95 plus shipping.

For base models you can easily remove the factory installed radio and reuse the factory trim without a problem or purchase either of the above kits. They also have wiring harness to make it easy to install without chopping your factory wires...Scosche model HA08B I believe and that should run you about $7.00 or so.

Not sure about the front speakers - when I changed mine they didn't have the mounting brackets available yet so my installer B/F custom made them. Just a heads up if you run into trouble with changing those out.

Good Luck!
