But if you're not getting the race header, don't bother with the 4-2 header. From what I've heard the yields are very minimal, and depending on what brand you buy, they tend to break.

and as for the CAI installation, they all seem to perform fairly well but Injen's is rumored to produce more torque (same hp) than their competitors... this is all speculation, hehe, but its widely perceived that intakes do a lot more for the RSX-S than they ever have for other 4-cyl hondas, so don't be too critical of claimed gains
from what i remember i think the AEM CAI was the first to come out, and does require removing the front bumper.. its no big deal, but its just an added hassle considering you ALSO have to permanently remount your windshield wiper fluid reservoir bottle somewhere else... the DC CAI came out after that and provided a replacement windshield wiper fluid reservoir bottle that fits in the stock location, but apparently suffered from some poor workmanship and leaks... the Injen CAI should also require no relocation of anything or removal of the front bumper, and will have a better-crafted wiper bottle, along with supposedly more torque gains hehe
as for the comptech icebox, it was a semi-cold-sorta-short tube intake but has supposedly halted development pending a redesign, don't hold your breath, injen's cai looks a lot more promising and will be available a bit sooner
and for suspension, i'd say stick with stock (minus maybe a thicker rear sway) until someone gets some shocks out or the H&R cup kit finally gets released
This is coming from a G3 owner but:
If you're planning on going turbo, don't waste money on a CAI and a header. I'm not familiar with the suspension choices for a RSX but I would target that with the $3,000 first.
A CAI by itself isn't going to do much, pair it up to a decent Header/hi-flo cat/exhaust and then you have something going.

i know this is off topic, but this is funny as all hell. click here also if you're gonna go turbo good luck with picking one. there really isn't a turbo kit with good enough engine management and fuel mapping worth buying. I wouldn't recommend going turbo until someone figures out how to map the fuel in the k20 ecu the right way. Our ecu's aren't like the gs-r's and shit where the fuel map stays the same all the time and it's easy to map. Ours changes according to different driving conditions and they have not yet figured out how to deal with it. Just like how people had s2000's with turbo kits for a while and they all blew their motors, people now have rsx's with turbo kits and they will blow their motors in time. You'll see just give it time before you jump into something that complex that you're not familiar with. Meanwhile i'm going all motor with mine... best bet.

Well for all who where affended by my Skyline comment, I apoligize I guess its all a matter of personal taste; it is however a fast basterd. With the LEV on the RSX i don't think a comptech race header will be a problem for us.
