Doubtful in your case it is a tranny issue, most likely a clutch will let it hook up better and if you do install an LSD it will allow it to hook both tires. This is assuming you get a stage 2 or better clutch since most likely an OEM will not hold up to this abuse for very long.

he has an aftermarket stage 1...an lsd sounds good to hook pretty hard...but this helps if only one tire hooking...in our case none are hooking...so r u suggesting that its the clutch? what stage would be good for a all bolt on and reflashed a2 on dr's???

It is the clutch most assuredly. You have described a slipping clutch to a tee. A fresh clutch and pressure plate will help. What stage you run is up to you really, how much grab do you want from a clutch? I would think a basically stock setup like his would be more than fine with a street/strip clutch and pressure plate setup.

This guy will be back when his friends aftermarket clutch ruins his thrust bearings causing a no start.

Quit bumping dead threads... especially when your motive is to take pot shots at other people.
