where can i find this i have the security number and vin. is there a web site???

 

dealer should tell you what it is. when i got my car the dealer gave me a card with the code on it.

 

There should be a card in the leather portfolio that the manual and warranty came in.

We need to start a waiting period before people can post, or maybe a n00b forum w/ a certain post count before you can move-on.

youll need to call the dealer with your vin and serial number for the radio. If theyre really nice, theyll look it up for you for nothing. Most likely theyre gonna want to charge you for it. roughly 100 bucks.

to get your serial number. turn your radio off, hold the 1 and 6 preset numers and turn the radio back on, the numbers (and letters) will show up on the display.

 

i tryied to turn off and press 1, 6, the turn back on and nothing.
my radio works now but have to hook up a new groung system and will need to get the ser. number. help please.

Register as a Honda/Acura owner with the VIN number... all Radio and Navi codes are there for the original equipment.
