Headlights, taillights, front and rear bumpers, side skirts, wheels, lip wing, upgraded brake master cylinder and rotors, Type R cams and intake manifold, other engine revisions (different engine code), upgraded seats, higher redline, stiffer sway bars, and quite a few minor details.

the mechanical, brake and suspension stuff i care about. the visuals i could care less. and it's a different engine code?! are you sure? wouldn't it be just as easy to add all those revisions to one of the older models? they're still ESSENTIALLY the same car... the higher redline and type R cams i do think is pretty damn cool if that's true...

The 02-04 RSX-S has a K20A2 engine, the 05+ has a K20Z1.

And yeah, appearance is personal preference but the brakes and engine are the biggest changes. I believe the synchros in the tranny are also better.
