06 Si vs Rsx Type s

whattup forum,
this is my first post, but i'm about to purchase or lease my first car. i want an si but they're too new to get a decent lease on one. leasing and financing a new si is almost the same price, its fuckin crazy. itll run me around 430 a month, but my leasing co. suggested i take an 06 rsx type-s black on black, loaded for about 100 bucks less a month.
the only reason i'm even thinking about not taking the type-s is that i'm thinking the design has been out for at least 4 years now, and im wondering if i get one and a new rsx design comes out in a year or 2. that would piss me off, anyone have any info on that???

in terms of performance the RSX is faster, it is cheaper, and you only have things to gain from it being a late model year of a newer platform.
all the bugs have been worked out, the platform was all new for 02 so dont think it's crappy by any means.
you can easily talk down a acura dealer because the SI's are flying off the shelves and type-s are just sitting around.
