I have heard good things about the Si I agree with the exhaust sound and LSD being the biggest plus. Not to keen on the styling. I had a 00 EBP Si before my RSX Type S I sometimes miss the styling but the new ones are fugly. I am happy with my Type S and since it was used I got a great deal. 03 with 21K miles and only paid 17 before my trade and it is under warrenty until 100K well except for the stuff I mod.

I agree KPro and CAI and is like a whole new car. Let alone some $300 type R cams.

 

Go for the Si.

 

if you going to turbo it, and your not to worried about great handling, i'd go for the tc, i've driven my friends quite a few times, its a fun little car, feels kinda sluggish i think because of the wieght, nows he's buying a turbonetics turbo kit for it (over 300hp at the wheels at only 8psi, check out there site), that little tc is going to bad ass!

 

What's happening. I wanted to say a few things.
The Type S is a great car after all it's the Gsr's replacement. The Si is a great car also especially basicly 200 hp & lsd factory & a few grand cheaper
than the S. Now the Tc is okay. 160hp &163 lbs tq. Now add Sc you only gain 40 hp. I work for Toyota/Scion so I've driven all 3 cars B4.
To say that you have to pay almost 4K to get 200 hp Sad. The Si 197 & S 201 hp all motor & don't mention Sc or Turbo easy 250-300 hp.Do the math.
If I was looking to buy 1 I'd buy the Si first :4 reasons: price, insurance,lsd & nice overall(too bad we couldn't have the Civic R ) instead.
I just wish the S had a arm rest like the Tegs.
The Tc not a good handling car,after 130 you're done , it's a step down for Toyota Good luck
