Default Clicking noise.....help

I am having a clicking noise eminatting from my front left wheel when i turn the wheel. There is no rubbing though. I have been told it could be a wheel hub or a axle. Funny thing is i can feel a "popping" sensation through my clutch pedal, however my clutch is slip free and engages everytime. I am also one of the few that got a tranny that doesnt kick out of gear or grind by itself. I work at a Mitsubishi dealership and my service guys are going to take a look at it soon. Have any of you got this????

If you have an '05 Type-S then i probably know what your problem is. Can you feel the clicking when you turn the wheel slowly? I had this same problem before. I brought my car in and they replaced the front left strut assembly. So far it has stopped clicking but i have only had it back for a few days.

nope its a 2002, but thats the other thing i was thinking is it could be the strut assembly. My mechanic said the hubs shouldnt be the problem, and the uv joints are fine, ofcourse the damn thing wouldnt make the noise when he was looking at it. Anyway, i sceduled it an appointment to get a check up at Acura next Thursday afternoon. I will post what they tell me, just to help the others that it might happen to.

Ya, i hate when it doesn't happen when you actually at the dealer. Mine got bad enough to the point that it happened all the time. It took me 5 visits for them to get it right. All this with only 5000 miles. I think its a defect in the 05's cause my friend is starting to hear the same noise. Good luck with that and keep pushing the problem even if they dont hear it, cause its there weather they hear it or not. Sometimes it seems like these guys dont do anything by themselves, you gotta tell them exactly what needs to be done. :slap:

A rock in the heat shield or between the spring/strut.
but they took apart every piece of my front suspension and brake system, checked and cleaned everything thing before putting it back together! Sterling Acura rocks!!!!
