I am having a clicking noise eminatting from my front left wheel when i turn the wheel. There is no rubbing though. I have been told it could be a wheel hub or a axle. Funny thing is i can feel a "popping" sensation through my clutch pedal, however my clutch is slip free and engages everytime. I am also one of the few that got a tranny that doesnt kick out of gear or grind by itself. I work at a Mitsubishi dealership and my service guys are going to take a look at it soon. If you have an '05 Type-S then i probably know what your problem is. Can you feel the clicking when you turn the wheel slowly? I had this same problem before. I brought my car in and they replaced the front left strut assembly. So far it has stopped clicking but i have only had it back for a few days.
