it finally happened... my auto SS transmission is going out (well, im pretty sure anyways)... i didnt know what it was, i started my car after school and it was making a horendous noise... i thought it was a rocker arm... but the mechanic said it wasnt coming from inside the block and it may be the transmission. Tonite after work i started it up.. the god aweful sound was still there, i went to put it in drive and when i did.. the car jumped. Wasnt normal, but i had to get home so i was driving home and when it switched from 1-2, it kind of stalled or what have you and from 2-3 it shifted unusually hard.
I talked to my friend and i can get a manual transmission for $600 w/ a 3 month warranty and this guy i know will install it for $200...
