The rear seat on my 2000 Prelude will not unlock when I use the key - works fine when I pull the handle in the trunk. Thought the cylinder was bad so I changed it w/ same results. Called the dealer and like I expected, if they knew the answer they were tight lipped. Anyone have any ideas one what to try next? It's really pissing me off......

 

if the trunk release works and the key doesn't, then the key when turned is misadjusted. look at the key mechanism inside the trunk when you turn the key and you might see the problem
