could be many things rattling. the rear deck, the rear console, the rear speakers, the tire jack, the license plate...basically anywhere that metal hits metal or metal hits plastic.

this dynamat, proven to work?

has anyone experienced this first hand?

like, does, putting a layer of this on the trunk lid, really stop it from shaking?

seems hard to believe..

Dynamat works.... I work in car audio.

When you have bass, you have distortion. The bass hits and the metal vibrates together. When you have dynamat, it basically stops the metal from vibrating and creats a lot less distortion.

Trust me, it works.

you have a 4th gen like me, there is 2 things on interiot tattling and 2 things on body.

interior - the speaker deck is rattling against the back window, i put a long black piece of bounty rapped it into a roll like roll it up like a dutchie then i covered it with black cloth tape so that the color blended with the fabric, shove it in between the glass and the speaker deck as far back as you can, that will stop the speaker deck vibrating,

next is the stop light which is at the top of the back windsheild this also vibrates for me, so once agian black tape around bounty and place it in there

you dont have to use what i did just anything so it doesnt rattle and is held tight.

exterior if you have a wing (stock like mine) that will rattle you cant really help that and that is the least amount of rattle.

and then the licsence plate put robber stoppers around the corners and soft cloth in between the car and licsense plate right in the middle, now you have very minor rattle and goo bass progression

dynamat works but if you want something cheaper and just as good try Raam Mat. Dampeners work very well and give your bass a more solid sound. just dont do it half assed.
