Default tranny actin funny

So last week I got my wisdom teeth out... was pretty bad, it's still hurting, they were deep... past impacted. So I was down and out for a few days... well in short I drove my car all of about 10mins durring a whole week, just sat parked for about a week.

Now my tranny seems to be slow on the shifting. Doesn't seem to be shifting at points it usually does. Auto... sorry, should have mentioned that. Yea, I didn't get a 5spd... I regret it, but this is what I got. I'll be doing a normal acceleration and just know when the tranny is going to shift, just learn it after a while to expect a change at certian times, rpms, throttle. Seems to just be taking longer and waiting longer inbetween shifts. Mainly when heavy acceleration, normal driving seems fine.

Is this bad? Ok? Can I fix it? Should I worry?

I just was able to get around to that last night...... seems much more like normal now.

I still want to change the tranny fluid... buy my work schedule sucks and I have like no time to do it.

Well it's back to doing what it was doing before. Seemed better for a day. Then right back, might have just been a fluke.

Think chaning the fluid would make a diffrence or am I looking at a rebuild?

reset it again. if it keeps goin back and forth then it shouldnt be mechanical. how many miles on it? if your gonna change the fluid, take it to a place where they can flush it all out instead of doin it yourself. the drain doesnt get all the fluid out usually

well I had a good transmission guy take the car for a drive, he says the tranny is shifting good and where it should be. suggest change the fluids and filters, have an appointent for him to do that.

Also suggested that I get the fuel filter changed. Could be the cause of some of the surges I've been seeing.
