well, Im just trying to get some easy stuff on it for right now. Like i said earlier, my friends and I are starting a club up and were trying to get some participation awards at this car show coming up on the 25-27 of Sep. I just want to be able to have something done to my car so it wont be completely stock.

God i just hope that the shift cable is the only thing wrong with my car. It feels so humiliating having to be driven to college by my mom...

auto, eh. ok this is what you do get on the highway and crash it into a tracktor trailer, cuz the car is automatic, what worthless sh*t you could look farther, instead of walking around your redneck block, what a waist of money you get a sports car and you get automatic, i personally enjoy switching gears and getting that small boost when down shifting, i live in nj and drove for 4 hours to Bronx, NY to get my beuty. a first car is the most important thing to a new driver and you got an auto, might as well shoot yourself while your at, take my advice clark kent do the world a favor.

or you could just suck my balls.:fawk:

Anyway, I've got another question. What would be better for an auto H23, turbo or ha ha gas? Or maybe supercharging it?

good luck with the supercharging, cuz JR sure ain't gonna be doin it. If you do find one, lemme know, it may be the only thing that'll keep me from selling my 23 eventually and swapping in a 22 Type-S. As for the auto, yeah, I'll concur with the "eh", you got dealt a bad card, oh well, not much you can do there, it's still a Honda, and a Prelude, so 2 outta 3 ain't so bad. Turbo would be nice, a bit complex, and pricey, whereas you could just go and sentence your engine to an early retirement with the ha ha, but there are ways of doing it properly ... I suppose. As for the paint, gunmetal would look awesome, were you thinking along the lines of the color the TSX comes in? I'm trying to picture a lude in that color, but I think it'd still look bad ass, even better if afterwards you swapped the headlights with the black-housing JDM ones. Click is right though, stay away from the stickers, nothing makes a car look tackier.

dude you got a lude i was happy when i got mine, personally yeah if you add turbo, or new engine hell yeah your cars gonna be hot. but whats the fun of having a rocket without controling it. in english whats the joy in having a quick car if your not drivin it, the transmission is doing it for you, your only making it go left and right, and putting pedal to carpet.

i would hault on all work and keep looking for manual if your still goin to work on your car. if you have auto, make the car enjoyable and do headers exhaust intake, sound system, springs, tints, body work. and best of luck to you. driving fast will only get your driving privlages takin away.

i tend to agree that auto ludes aren't good for a number of reasons, but that kinda dogma's coming from a neon light guy.

but yeah i wouldn't spend TOO much money on your lude, just b/c it seems kind of like a dead end. Maybe basic bolt ons and a suspension, but anything beyond that could get you behind the wheel of something potentially quicker, like say for instance a s13 sr20det. maybe even a s14.

my above $3500 number is on the low side for an FI install, but would get you started. I think a more realistic # for turbo is around 5000 to 6000.
