front strut bar
Is it worth it to just buy the front strut bar to go across the engine bay? Or would I have to make other mods to make buying the front strut bar worth it?
Basically, will just buying this one piece make a difference in handling of my 2001 lude?

no. strut bars are for the most part, not very effective. ludes are already pretty rigid laterally, and don't need c pillar bars, strut tower braces, or any of the stuff the DC2 guys need. some will say they feel a difference...
the single most effective bar mod you could do is a stiffer rear sway bar, or removing your front sway bar, to lessen the understeer but either one of these mods really changes the way your car handles and drives so be forewarned.

I agree I've got all the tie bars you can buy other than the C-pillar bar and there isn't really a noticeable difference in the cars handling.Don't get me wrong I'm sure they do what they're supposed to when I'm autoXing but I went with Suspension Techniques front and rear sway bars and noticed more.I disconnected my front sway bar and now my car reacts the way I want it too but at first spooked me on more than one occasion as it tends to oversteer now.Bottom line buy a rear sway bar or if you don't have the money disconnect the front one just be careful!!!I wouldn't bother with tie bars unless they're just for show or you've done everytheing else in your suspension.

because of the lack of a significant support beam in the rear, separating the cabin from the rear subframe, you could benefit from a rear strut tower bar or some other more rigidly designed brace to keep your rear subframe from twisting and responding erratically and independently from the rear suspension.
as for the front, the struts are mounted so close to the firewall on Hondas, chassis flex in the front subframe is minimal if any at all.

i have a upper front and lower rear bar.
i noticed a difference in handling, actually. but then again, i put them on at the same time. i agree with drift that the front brace is too close to the firewall anyways.
they are cheap parts anyways... your choice
i would def. invest in a rear one though. goodluck
