Default reprogramming my ecy?

I was just wondering if it was worth it to have my ecu reprogrammed. Can you really feel a difference in the timing and fuel changes and also will a VAFC do all of the same stuff, or can I get better performance out of reprogramming it and getting a VAFC. By the way I have a 95 Prelude with a USD spec P13 ecu

a vafc and dyno tuning is all you need if just have bolt-ons. the vafc will handle the fuel maps and since your obdI you can manually advance the timing, the dyno jet will help you do this the right way. the main reason for reprogramming or chipping the ecu is to get rid of speedlimiters like on the JDM P13 or rev limiters if you have a built motor.

I have i/e, pulleys, and tomorrow a p & p 11:1 head with big bore throttle body, and crosshatched intake manifold is going in. So still a VAFC and some manual advancing is fine?
