Mine did that too. Went out and had to buy a new head unit.

It means there's moisture on the disc/lens or the disc is dirty or smudged.

My GF's did that, the best way to solve that problem is to buy an aftermarket one:thumbup:

Hey I used to own a 93 Legend
and had it with the bose stereo from the factory that
wouldn't allow me to change to an aftermarket headunit
i just recently bought a 99 Prelude SH
is it possible to change to an aftermarket deck
without having to rewire the stock speakers like in my
Acura Legend

you can do a bose system, its just a pain in the ass kind of, I work at 2 automotive acessory stores and I do this all day, but yes the prelude's head unit can be changed without running wires to speakers

note to SoCal Lude Drivers:

when buying a headunit from fry's do not let them sell you the Piece of Shit dash kit that they will insist that you need. not only does it look cheap, it is cheap.

after much b.s. with that product i ended up using the stock mount and keeping the OEM plastic sleeve (using a drill, some 6/32" x 1" machine screws) in the right place.
