Im just now into preludes, and if the preludes made in 92-94 dont have an h22 vtec in it, I am not buying it. I dont know wat it is with me and vtec, i know i doesn't make much of a difference, but I love the way it sounds when it hits V-TEC. I had my sivic for a little over a year now and i still love how it sounds with a intake on..well yeah i need to know if p4th gens come stock iwth h22 or f22's...

 

Depending on the model, it can have an F22A1 (S), H23A1 (Si), or H22A1 (VTEC)

 

As for hp ratings, S - 130, Si 160, VTEC 190. The Si's are no slouches. They were pretty much a VTEC without the VTEC (equipment and handling), but the H23A is by no means a bad motor. If you can't find a VTEC or they are too expensive for you, don't rule out an Si.
