Default Trouble with car starting.

I don't have any idea what is going on with my car but it hardly starts most of the time. Sometimes it will start right up and at other times I have to try about 5 or 6 times before it finally starts up. I put in new plugs about 2 months ago and set it to the exact torque specs required by honda. I went on vacation for a week and when I came back is when it started giving me problems. Did I maybe tighten the spark plugs too much? I don't know what to look for and I don't know much about this kinda stuff so that's why I came here to ask. Any help is appreciated.

Depends on a few things. First the torque you put on the spark plugs is not an issue if you used the Honda spec.
If you did not change the Distributor cap and rotor recently that could be the cause of the problem. Next, is the Main Relay. There is a starting sequence for certain model Honda cars and this relay controls the fuel pump prior to start and afterward as well.
In the summer they tend to fail more often than any other time of year. Again this relates to older Hondas.
If you are getting fuel and spark it is time for a diagnostic test.
Just some places to check. Good luck.
