Our door locks are single negative pulse, so no matter how fast or slow you hit the switch, they engage the same (it's all computer controled).

Thanks all for the responses, now, is there a way to lock the doors on the Prelude without invoking the power door lock motors???

I can UNlock the driver's door using the key, BUT if I use the lock "tab", the power lock button, or the key, the power locks lock both doors!!! Now, i can lock the passenger door by itself using the lock tab, but if I use the driver's door lock tab, both doors lock. Seems to me it would be logical to have a way to lock the doors without having to use the power locks
