i wanna see how much potential they got, if theyd break the 14's 13's 12's... maybe even faster? no idea..
but im saying without taking off seats, just street legal

Well, so how much are you willing to put in to it? And don't forget if you, or someone you know can't put the stuff in, than you have to pay someone else to.
I personally don't know to much, but I have freinds that do. One opinion is that H23's aren't as good as H22's because the H23's are non-Vtec, but H22's are Vtec.
A friend of mine has a Prelude, 4th gen. Really fast breaks 11's when sparying NOS, in a 1/4 ml. But he does most of the work himself, so it's cheaper for him. Best thing to do is get in good with someone who can show you how to do things, or do them for you cheap. And someone who knows how to research and talk to people to get good parts cheaper than normal. But never go with a part just 'cause it's cheap. Buy cheap you get cheap. Always research to see what would be better for your car. The right parts can make your car that much faster. My boyfriend has a Chevy Cavalier, fastest street one I've ever seen without having a whole lot done. All he has is an Exhaust, Intake, FR strut bar, Bocsh plugs and 9mm wires. Ran low 15's in an area where the air for some reason doesn't let the cars go as fast as normal. So, I timed him in another place and he was running high 14's. That's good for not spraying or having a Turbo/Supercharger when Cavaliers can be kinda slow.
The more money you spend the better you get, and of course driving skills have something to do with it! Quick shifting and pedaling is important.
So, like everyone else was saying it's basically how much you spend.

No matter, your ride is your ride. You all may have not seen to many hooked up Cavaliers. So go to the NOPI or JEGS site, they have in they're team. My boyfriend is fast. He's beaten every 4 banger so far, and a lot of V6's and 1 V8. Pretty damn fast don't you think for just some Cavalier? I was trying to make a point to the thread starter, that anything can be hooked up, it just matters what kinds of parts and how much you spend.

<-stock h22a1, bs intake and DC header, stock exhaust from header back
i will smoke your boyfriends cavalier no problem
and my car is only lightly modded.
fully stock exhaust from my header back and a $50 intake off ebay
and im running mid to high 14's
so dont ever say that a cavalier is the fastest 4 banger.
honda makes much better power from their DOHC VTEC models, especially the h series over chevy.
chevy can stick to making their ls1 and other good motors, they dont know shit about 4 cylinders.
