Default NA engine tuning...

Hey, I was wondering. What is the best way to go about tuning a Base Lude without going Forced induction? I've heard that the Type S camshaft from JDM plus the usual Intake/headers/Exhaust along with a VTEC controller can pull some pretty nice horses. Was wondering what else could be done as far as Internals/Engine work without the Dreaded Supercharger or Turbo. Although I'm still considering getting either a turbo or SC at the end of summer, but as of right now i'm looking for NA upgrades. Anyone have AIM? We could talk, would be really appreciated. Thanks! -Matt

well depends on how much you wanna spend. I/H/E should be first. Cams are good but you may need to change other internals to support it (retainers, springs, etc). Pulleys are a cheap hp gain, esp. if you have an automatic. Check out www.Gude.com if you have $1600 laying around after I/H/E.
