Your pump is prolly ok, but you should change the filter first because its cheap. Run some injector cleaner too. If none of that helps you should buy an O2 sensor.

Well, I ran a fuel injector cleaner & replaced my fuel pump, and none of it dod a damn thing. I think my O2 sensor is fine, cause the LEDs on my A/F ratio gauge respond very quickly, meaning it isn't fouled anywhere. should I go w/ an adjustable FPR next?? they aren't that expensive, only about 100 bucks. what do you guys think??

I think that your car is fine and the ECU is keeping everything between rich and lean, like it should. If it isn't too much trouble, try putting that new A-F guage on a friends car so you can compare it on another vehicle. If it is only running lean when you have the pedal @ WOT (wide open throttle), then you need some bigger injectors.

no, it runs lean all the time EXCEPT when it's at WOT, then it barely slips into stoich. I ordered an adjustable FPR, so hopefully that will help out.

I think you should not trust an a/f gauge since its crap and is wrong.

It usually should run a little RICH at WOT. Thats probably why you're seeing it approach 14:1. Since you aren't getting any check engine lights, that guage is probably wrong. It is only an expensive 0-1 volt meter anyway and could be off as little as 1/10 of a volt. Does it have a little calibration pot on the circuit board?
