Default help opening climate control to change LED

This is on a gen 5 1999 prelude.

Hi, I am trying to modify my LED lights in the climate control box... I've taken out the box (with all the buttons and levers).. that was a bitch. So I've got it out, but I can't open it. Does anyone know how to open the box to get to the circuit board w/ exposed LED's so I can swap them w/ some new blue ones I got? The main problem I'm running into is the levers (that control the temperature: cold->hot and the one that controls the level of power: off->1->2->3->4). They prevent me from pulling off the front of the climate control box because the nub that you pinch to slide the lever is connected to the back of the box front. So I can't pull off the front of the box without breaking off the nubs. Does anyone know how to do this? I know some people out there have gotten this done (modded their LED lights). Please, any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: this is for my brothers car.. ignore the pic of the accord for now

Default n/m got it

nevermind.. I got it. So the nubs on the levers do pop off, and can be put back together. If anyone wants to do this mod, lemme know. It's a pain in the ASS to get it apart and pull out the circuit board. And on top of that, Honda decided to be clever and use extruded LED's (meaning that the bulbs of the LEDs are not round, but squashed on 2 sides, and rounded on the other 2). So, simply buying 5mm blue LED's at radioshack will not fit the LED mounts that are on the circuit board. So, you have to remove those mounts and just have the new blue LED's bent and hang free. Contrary to what it seems, the light from each LED will not bleed into the other buttons w/out the housing.. I've tested it and it's fine. Looks tight. I'll post pics as soon as they're available.
