Default changing transmission fluid (98 SH)

I'm geting a shop manual sometime soon, but i was wondering how to change the transmission fluid in my 98 prelude sh.

The SH shouldn't be any different for just trans fluid then the base 5spd models. There's a drain plug and a fill plug on the trans just above/below each other. The deal is you drain it and then fill it until it starts to overflow the fill hole. Make sure the car isn't hot and that it's level since you need to use the overflow to determine the level.

PS get a HELMS!!!!!

Pretty simple. Why you changing your tranny fluid? Most manual transmissions dont need the fluid changed unless you do a rebuild on them or you replace some internal component. Or you have a leak and it contaminated the fluid. Otherwise tranny fluid will last pretty damn long.

i got a new tranny a few months ago and gears dont go in too smooth. everyone told me to change my fluid and see what happens.

I'd make sure to only use Honda MTF fluid, other have seen problems after a while with synthetics.
