I was just curious if anyone could tell me if my clutch is hydrolic... I've never seen what a hydro tranny looks like but I think mine might be. Its a 2.1 SI and I was lookin at the engine the other day and the clutch cable goes to this little hydrolic pump I guess and the pump engages and disengages the cable to the clutch, is this correct? If it is could you guys tell me why my clutch makes like a little scraping noise when I push it in, when I let it go its quiet but when I push it in and rev it even a little it sounds and feels scratchy. IF it is in fact a hydro clutch could you tell me how it works and If it could need more oil or somethin??? The only reason I think it is is because my accord just had a cable from my pedal to the tranny. thanks in advance for any info (and sorry for long post)
