Tint for Silver Preludes

Platinum tint. might have been a marketing ploy, but that is what the sales guy said. I paid like 5 bux extra for it.
Make sure you get the Metallic tint and not the dyed, because the dyed tint will turn purple in a couple years even if you don't use amonia based window washer stuff. The Metallic (not mirror) comes in black, "platinum" (reflective I guess but not mirror), and mirror.
Good luck. My suggestion is go 35% for fronts and 20% in the rears. And Windshield tint IS illegal, so if you want to pass inspection don't do it. Only cars I've seen with Windshield tint is drug dealers, and DEA cars.

Bottom line I am thinking maybe 25-35% black. Whatever I decide to go with. I am still kinda up in the air in terms of how dark I wanna take it.
Can someone explain 25 and 35% to me please, in terms of how dark they are? My brother has 15% on his side windows and to me, thats damn dark! Help me out guys.

I am definaly going with black, colored tint ... IMO, looks dumb on any car.
I'm also going to go with 20-35%... but undecided.... what I WANT would be like 10% on all windows... but what am I going to get hassled for is what I want to not have. Cops DO have a tendancy to pull over and hassle people with aftermarket tint moreso than those that do not. I've heard story after story of people with tint getting the 3rd degree, just cause they have tinted windows.

Good place to get tint

Monstar, to answer you pm on the tin.
I have 35% on the front and 20% on the back.
I decided to go with the 35% because that is the legal limit here.
My car attracts enough attention I don't neet the tint to give the cops another excuse to pull me over.
The 20% in the rear is because I think limo (5%) is too dark. I'm getting old. Can't see as well as i did back in the old school days.
