Default What does a 5thgen VTEC 5-Speed Prelude run in the 1/4???

Does anyone know what a 5thgen 5-Speed Prelude with VTEC runs in the 1/4 with minor mods[CAI, header, exhaust, short shifter if they make one, clutch, Z-Rated tires] and an average driver???

There are so many variables here its way too impossible to give you an accurate representation of what you would run.

If it was a SOHC VTEC I would give you the range between a 15 and a 16, if it was a DOHC NOTEC Id say 14's and up, DOHC VTEC 14's and up as well.

the BEST i've ever heard of on a near stock lude was a 14.9 w/ only CAI on a 99 lude. The driver is a local tuner.
I run low to mid 15's all day but I suck.

car and driver has the lude at 15.4 for the quarter.

With an exhaust, and intake----

THE QUARTER IS STILL AT AROUND 15!!!!

these two mods do very little---almost nothing except add noise...

I love Hondas, and my fifth gen lude....but lets be honest.....add a a supercharger or turbo and then we'll talk

I ran 14.9 ET in a '97 base, RM exhaust, Iceman CAI, and really craphole Nitto 450's. 85k miles at the time and about 80 degree weather.
