85 prelude loses power on hills

Default 85 prelude loses power on hills

When the car goes up a hill it starts to loose power like it is ruungi out of fuel, when i get to downhill or level it starts to even out and back to normal...

what is causing this? its a 85 prelude dx...carbs

other than this little problem car runs great!

fuel pump? Is it possible that on the incline, the pump is too weak to pump the fuel? Just a suggestion...

edit: another suggestion after reading your initial post again - carb problem. On an incline the fuel/air mixture isn't correct... I don't know much about carbs, but I know that this symptoms is often ascribed to a malfunctioning one.
