Default 1991 Prelude bogging down while driving

I have a 1991 Honda Prelude 2.0 5-speed that boggs down while driving. This is an intermittent problem. It acts as if it is being either starved of fuel or getting too much. If I pump the gas pedal to the floor it usually corrects the problem. Of course this can't be good for the engine 'cause it gets close to redlining. Sometimes I have to do it a few times before it starts running normal again. I have never had the car die on me although a couple times if I would stop at a gas station it would sometimes take several tries to get it started again. Any clues?

Default 91 Prelude

I have not had the fuel pressure checked. I would assume if I had low fuel pressure the car would never work properly. It only bogs under 2000 rpm's. I don't know where to find the AICV screen either.. any ideas?
